The hell? Can I have whatever you are smoking?

Also, if you run around as much as any characters do, i'm sure you won't have troubles like loosing weight.

Try running across three continents. You won't be fat either. Since it would be too difficult to incorporate weight loss in the game, they decided to just keep the weight light.

Also, sex sells. Troll thread is troll.

I have to look at fat people all day long, why should I have to look at them in the game, too?

Don't want to stir anyone up would you rather have an army of the fit looking warriors now or an army of fat guys?
They're simply healthier that fat people and when I say fat I mean FAT, not just bigger then they are now.

What's wrong with having different body types.
Everyone will look different. You won't see many chubby people, but they will stand out as being different.

Whenever I see him in a movie now, I'll be thinking of his belly face. Thanks a lot.

Dwarfs aren't going to be playable. Something to do with them being unable to make female dwarfs.

I too would like an option to increase waist size. Personally I prefer one character to look as much like me as possible - I'm 32, a little over 6 foot, balding, and weigh about 280 Lbs. The rest of my characters, well unless I'm being social I want to look at something attractive and GW's female models fit that bill quite nicely.

I can sorta get a warrior like that in prophecies - it even has the same general face shape if I had somewhat less body fat (not too far off how I looked in my 20's). The handful of other MMO's I have played let me do it, but then that feature wasn't worth a monthly fee (which was the only thing they ever did that GW doesn't do that I would really like).

It's just not a popular option and I would generally agree their time is better spent elsewhere (though if they did it I wouldn't complain), I have 12 characters and the reality is that only one of mine would be fat and I generally bet that is even on the high side. However, since that would be the one I generally use for social stuff that is one of the most important characters.

*shrug* it would be amusing to have a fat female elementalist, but once the "funny" wore off she would be deleted and replaced with one I would rather have on screen if I am to play for several hours. Heck, if she was just a farming character she may even stay in the lineup - it would be continually amusing to see a small rotund female wade into the middle of a group of some wild monsters and kill them all in a few seconds

Exactly. In a game where your character has only one profession - kill things, a lot - no one has time to get fat. We only think fat is common because everyone has the opportunity to be lazy in this day and age. In a time/world like Guild Wars, people are constantly on the move, working their butts off. Well, all except for the exceptionally wealthy, like Prince Bokka.

So maybe allow people to spend 1million gold on making their characters fat, to prove they are wealthy.

I think its a good idea, more variation in characters.

Not everyone is a horny 12yr old that just plays to look at cartoon tits, some people actually enjoy other aspects of the game.

Honestly, if you are going to make it realistic like having overweight characters, then you would have to put up with them stopping every two minutes because they are catching their breath! being overweight and running would kind of wear them out a little.

Next we will be asking for those little electric scooters to run them around on like they have in Disneyland

More dynamic gameplay. Let's say you appear to district and are able to attack against NPC. NPC eventually respawn and your character eventually in that rate start change look and NPC guards start to coming your way. Not that all, fast travel becomes temporally disabled and gates shutted down. Of course this idea works better in-game what is not so instanced etc.

LMAO

I mean if the game's setting was modern-day (like CoH/CoV), or futuristic (like Tabula Rasa), then I could see chubby characters. It would make sense. But not in GW, please.
